The Slippery Rock Women's Rugby team came in second in the Allegheny Rugby Division this fall. Even with coming in second place, the team was encouraged to apply for a bid for the fall playoffs. After an agonizing couple of days, the team got a response and it said: "You were one of the two teams selected as wild cards to go to playoffs!" Everyone on the team was so excited! We found out that we are playing this Saturday, November 14, 2015 in Grand Rapids, Michigan! We will be playing Davenport University (a team that had gone 6-0 for the season) in the first round of playoffs. Rock Rugby is looking for a win this weekend to continue playing with the hopes of making it to Nationals in the spring!
Will keep you posted on what happens next!
